Edwardian Silver Miniature Chocolate Pot Pepper Hallmarked Chester 1904

1900 - 1920
Description

A solid sterling silver Edwardian pepperette in the form of a miniature chocolate pot. The pepperette has a wooden handle and silver spout, with pull off lid where partial hallmarks are visible on the lip. Full hallmarks can be seen on the base for the Chester Assay Office with a date mark for 1904, Lion Passant and silver maker's mark: Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings. The interior has a gilt wash finish.
