Superb Good Size Spanish Cast Solid Silver Stag Deer Figure C1950 Animal

1940 - 1960
Description

A superb Spanish cast solid silver miniature animal figure . It is hallmarked with Spanish 915 standard pentagram mark and a makers mark FV. I would date it to c1950s. It has been beautifully designed being cast in the form of a stag, note not solid cast in that the base is hollow but very thickly cast. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.5cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide by 2 inches (5cm) tall and weighs 48 grams. A very good quality beautiful example.
