Rare English Sterling Silver Singapore Turf Cup Quaich 1961 Horse Racing

1940 - 1960
Description

A rare English solid sterling silver trophy quaich cup. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1961 with the makers marks being that of William Suckling Ltd. It has been superbly designed with the handles being cast in the form of horses heads and the bowl is engraved 'SINGAPORE TURF CLUB'. It is in superb condition, having no dings splits or repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) across including the handles and 3.75 inches (9.4cm) excluding them by over 2 inches (5.5cm) tall to the top of the handles and weighs 104 grams. A beautifully clean example.
