Antique Heavy Silver Watch Chain and Fob, 1897

Description

Antique heavy silver watch chain and fob, 1897.

The chain measures 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar and clasp are both hallmarked for Birmingham 1897, with a maker’s mark for the Birmingham silversmith Herbert Bushell.

Each of the links has the lion silver mark, and one has the Herbert Bushell maker’s mark.

Also included is the large silver fob, hallmarked for Birmingham 1894. The fob measures 35mm diameter excluding the protruding points and loop.

Total weight 99g.
