A Pretty French Silver-fitted Sewing Box

Description

A charming fully fitted French SEWING BOX in particularly fine original condition. The slightly domed box itself is of crimson leather beautifully embossed and gilded with scrolls and leaves etc., and opens to reveal the interior fitted with its full set of silver tools and implements comprising: scissors; needle case; stiletto; thimble and chatelaine, whilst within the lid, the original gilt-bordered mirror is in excellent condition. This is a very pretty sewing box in virtually mint condition. 6ins wide; 3.5ins deep.
