Very Rare Antique Silver Watch Chain with Horse Bridle Detail

Description

Very rare antique silver watch chain with horse bridle detail.

This is an unusual Edwardian piece, probably bespoke, with the horse’s snaffle to the centre.

The chain measures 33cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is an antique replacement, hallmarked for 1876, while the clasp is hallmarked for 1903 which. The links are not hallmarked but have tested as being silver.

The total weight is 48g.
