Superb Silver Plated Religious Jesus Tray Salver 1872 Victorian Antique

Description

A superb Victorian silver plated tray or salver. It is marked with Briddon Brothers makers mark and it dates by the Registration Lozenge mark to 1872. It has been superbly designed being engraved with an image of Jesus and three sheep and is supported on three claws feet. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits wear and repairs. It measure approx. 9.75 inches (25cm) across by almost 1 inch (2.3cm) wide and weighs 520 grams. A superbly made unusual piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
