Large 328g German Solid Silver Tea Caddy Jewellery Box C1900 Antique

Description

A beautifully large elegant German solid silver tea caddy or jewellery box. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark, the 800 standard mark and the makers mark of Hermann Behrnd who operated in Dresden from 1881. It has been beautifully made and is internally gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 5 inch (13cm) across by 4.25 inches (11cm) wide by 4.25 inches (11cm) tall and weighs 328 grams. A beautiful rare piece.
