An Elizabeth II silver plated folding biscuit box which has a shell designed body with fluted detailing, an attractive frame with ornate features, a central handle for carrying purposes and resting on four curved feet. The shell body opens to reveal two polished pierced grills which in turn can be lifted to house the biscuits. The interior of the shell body has been nicely gilded and the grills slot comfortably in position to help keep the box firm and stable when open. This silver plated biscuit box is both decorative and practical and would look eye catching on display.

It was made in the 1960's and is silver plated. The condition is excellent.
