A pretty Victorian English antique solid sterling silver vinaigrette. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1872 with the maker’s marks being that of George Unite. It has been beautifully designed and has a vacant cartouche. The inside has been gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, there is the odd faint mark and the gilding to the inside base is a little worn, there is also a scratch to the inside gilding on the lid. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3.4cm) long by almost 1 inch (2.3cm) wide by over 0.25 inch (0.8cm) tall and weighs 10 grams. A very high quality example.
