Chester Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Stamp Box - 1901

Description

An antique Edwardian sterling silver three sectioned stamp box which is rectangular in shape with a plain body, a slanted hinged lid and resting on a flat base with bead detailing around the edge. This unusual three sectioned stamp box would make a useful addition to a Chester silver collection and an ideal gift. The hallmark is clear but the maker's mark is rubbed.

Height: 3.5 cms (1.4")

Length: 8.5 cms (3.3")

Width: 4.3 cms (1.7")

It was hallmarked in Chester for 1901 and remains in very good condition.
