Description

A stunning large Italian solid silver and glass apple pot. It is hallmarked with the Italian Firenze 800 silver mark, this mark was used between 1944 to 1968. It has been beautifully made being in the form of a apple and has a removeable glass lining. It is in super condition. The silver is free from dings splits repairs and dings, the odd faint mark. The glass is free from cracks chips and repairs. The lids fits well. It is a good size measuring approx. 4 inches (10cm) across by 4.75 inches (12cm) tall and weighs 388 grams with the glass liner and 208 grams without it. A beautifully made unusual piece.
