Six Gerald Benney Mid Century Modern Sterling Silver Spoons Chelsea Pat 1966

1940 - 1960
Description

A nice quality cased set of six sterling silver spoons. They are hallmarked for Sheffield 1961-1966, assayed over different years before being assembled into the finished set in 1966. They were made by Viners having been designed by Gerald Benney, a very important modernist designer of the time. The pattern is called Chelsea. They are in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 4 inches (10.3cms) long and have a combined weight of weigh 70 grams excluding the case. A rare stylish set.
