Art Nouveau Chester Sterling Silver Dish Bowl 1908 165g Stunning Antique

Description

A beautiful English solid sterling silver Art Nouveau bowl. It is hallmarked for Chester 1908 with the maker’s marks being RH over EH. It has been beautifully made having a shaped rim and base and two large sweeping handles. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, tiny mark below the hallmark see final photo. It measures approx. 8 inches (20.5cm) wide including the handles by 5 inches (13.2cms) excluding them by 4.5 inches (10.4cms) tall to the top of the handles and weighs 165 grams. A beautifully designed Chester piece.

Declaration

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
