Beautiful English Solid Silver Callling Card Case 1922 Antique 52g Chester

Description

A beautiful English antique solid sterling silver calling card case. It is hallmarked for Chester 1922 with the makers mark being that of E J Trevitt & Sons. It has been superbly made and has been engraved with scrolls with the cartouche being engraved with initials WEJ. It is in superb condition being free from dings holes and repairs, a single tiny pin mark - see final photo. It is gilded inside. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.5cm) tall by 2 inches (5cm) wide and weighs 52 grams. A superbly designed beautifully clean example.
