Description

A wonderful and highly decorative toast rack, which these days are a popular desk-top accessory, they make the most stylish letter or stationery racks, particularly in this very usable size.

The design and quality are top notch, not surprising as it was made by the highly regarded and sought-after Elkington & Co. There is a full hallmark with the date letter for 1887, a true Victorian example.

The base is beautifully pierced or reticulated with a quatrefoil design. The handle and four pierced feet has a beaded and shell decoration; a true beauty in excellent condition, measuring 7" x 3 3/4" x 6 1/2" tall.
