Elegant Silver Plated Bread Basket - Diamond Registration Mark for 1873

Description

A stunning and very elegant bread basket, nice and heavy and finished in silverplate. The rim and foot are finished with beaded decoration and the sides pierced or reticulated with a quatrefoil design.

The underside is marked with the makers initials HA EA FA and EPNS for Electo-Plated Nickel Silver. This one is lucky enough to have the very sought-after design registration diamond which when looked up makes this piece registered on December 11th, 1873.

As beautiful as useful, excellent condition, measuring 10 1/2" x 8" x 2 1/4" tall.
