Large Antique George V Sterling Silver 25" Tray 1912

Description

This is a superb antique hallmarked sterling silver tray measuring 25 1/2” (65.5 cms) across from handle to handle x 15? (38 cms).

It’s hallmarked for Sheffield 1912 with the silversmiths mark for James Ramsay of High St, Dundee.

It weighs 2862 grams/92 troy oz which gives you some idea of the quality and is in excellent condition (any marks you can see in the photos are just reflections).

It has beautiful engraved decoration of swags and baskets of fruit and there are no inscriptions or monograms.

This tray comes with a certificate of authenticity
