A rare English sterling silver combination bookmark letter opener. It is hallmarked for London 1901 with the makers mark being partially rubbed. It has been superbly designed having a looped end and is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 7.25 inches (18.5cms) long by 0.5 inches (1.2cms) wide and weighs 29 grams. A very unusual piece.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
