Description

A superb very rare and interesting Victorian sterling silver hip flask. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1891 with the makers mark being JEB. It has been stylishly designed and most interestingly engraved with a reference to a visit to the 'Electroworks' with by His Highness The Duke of Tech. The Duke of Tech married the cousin of Queen Victoria and was the Father of Quuen Mary. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (13.8cm) tall by 2.75 inches (7cms) wide and weighs 260 grams. A superbly made very high quality fascinating piece.
