Stunning Large 310g David Andersen 830s Solid Silver Jug C1900 Norway Antique

Description

A stunning large heavy solid silver Norwegian jug. It is hallmarked with the 830S silver standard mark as well as the makers marks of David Andersen. I would date it to c1890-1900. It has been beautifully designed having cast legs and handle and is in outstanding condition being free from dings splits and repairs, just one single tiny mark see final photo. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.2cms) tall by 4.75 inches (12.5cms) spout to handle and weighs a very impressive 310 grams. A beautiful rare high quality piece.
