Incredible Large Art Deco 18ct Gold Opal Solitaire Ring. Simple and stunning this large cabachon cut piece of opal has an estimated opal weight of ca. 2.50cts and a diameter of ring head ca. 1.2cm. It has particularly fiery colour displays covering the whole spectrum. Flashes of red orange and yellow from one angle and then bright blue and purple and a little green from the other angles. This has been set into a very pleasing three prong claw setting. A good strong shank stamped for 18ct and almost certainly dates from the Art Deco era.
