Early 20th Century Brass Gimbal Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb quality early 20th century gimbal lamp, patent number AP9009, likely by Harcourts. The gimbal is used to keep an item level in respect to the horizon despite the ships pitching and rolling. Can be table or wall mounted. This model of lamp was known to be used by the Royal Navy in WWII period.

A fantastic example, professionally polished and fully rewired in period style flex and PAT safety tested.

Offered with or without shade.
