Description

A beautiful Victorian English antique solid sterling silver butter spade / spreader. It is hallmarked for London 1879 with the makers marks being that of Francis Higgins II. It has been beautifully designed being engraved with birds and foliage with a vacant cartouche. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 6.5 inches (16.2cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.3cm) wide and weighs 44 grams. A very pretty piece.
