Description

A fine quality English hallmarked silver Sugar Basket of oval ‘helmet’ shape with hinged reeded silver handle over. Lightly engraved with scallop decoration around the outer rim and supported on an oval engraved base, again with reeded edge.

Hallmarked for the well known London silversmith Robert Hennell, and dated 1791.
