The case opens with a press button release and the lid is hinged. The interior is richly gilded and opens to reveal the sprung holders - one is for full sovereigns and the other is for half sovereigns. A good collectors piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents or breaks to the silver. The hinge is strong, as are the springs to the sovereign holders. There is a small area of 'scarring' to the top (shown in photo), commensurate with age.
Hallmarks :- Softening but readable.
