Rare Georgian Solid Sterling Silver Pap Boat Feeding Cup Bowl C1780 Antique 60g

Description

A rare English antique solid sterling silver pap boat. It is hallmarked with the makers mark only, possibly that of William Turton used c1780. It has been traditionally designed, pap boats were used to soak bread in milk or other semi-liquid food to give to children and invalids. It has been engraved with the initials BRW. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, tiny insurance marks scratched near engraved initials on the base. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (11cm) across by 2.5 inches (6.6cm) wide by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) tall and weighs 60 grams. A beautiful high quality rare piece.
