Adorable Cased Silver Christening Set with Teddy Handles Birm' 1928

A lovely antique silver Christening / new baby set comprising an adorable spoon and pusher with teddy bears adorning the handles.  Each bear the clear and crisp hallmarks on the back, for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark of 1928, Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and the maker's mark for the silversmiths:  Crisford and Norris.  The set comes in the original case with a brown leatherette exterior and black velvet and cream satin interior and bears the jeweller's marks under the lid 'Jewellers W. Wright Ltd Established 1848'.

 

A wonderful gift for a child or collector.

 

Condition:  The set is in super condition.  The exterior of the case bears a few scuff marks in places commensurate with age and use and mentioned only for accuracy.
