Description

A beautiful almost certainly French or German solid silver box. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1890. It has been beautifully made being embossed with cherubs playing. It has a sprung mechanism i.e. the lid flips open automatically when the button is pushed. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.5cm) tall by 1 inch (2.7cms) wide by 1.5cms and weighs 30 grams. A beautifully made high quality piece.
