Superb Large Antique 18ct Sapphire Diamond Ring

Incredible Large pretty Antique 18ct Sapphire Diamond Ring. Three very large sapphires totally nearly 2ct of excellent colour and clarity the largest of which is a cushion cut sapphire measuring 7mm x 5mm. The colour of the sapphires is a vibrant velvet blue, which is not at all dark or heavy. These are set between two large sparkly bright diamonds of a minimum 0.25ct each, interspacing these are tiny diamond chips. So a total of 0.60ct diamonds minimum. There are beautiful details to the edges and shoulders and a stamp for 18ct, it is typical of a Victorian ring and obviously a very quality piece for that era. There is wear and scuffs to the faceted edges of the sapphires in accordance with its age, this does not detract from the rings beauty as it is hard to see this with the naked eye. This is certainly a statement piece ring with wow factor, yet comfortable for everyday wear. The size is UK Q.5 and USA 8 1/4. Weight is 5g. All stones have been fully tested for authenticity.
