An Outstanding Sampson Morden Silver Cased Travelling Razor Set

An outstanding item of Art Deco silver by the great Sampson Morden & Co. This superb piece is a silver cased razor set. The hallmarked silver box is beautifully crafted, with a rebated hinge and push button mechanism. The shuts with a pleasing and discreet click and the case has no monograms or initials. The contents are a chrome razor and a complete set of 'Valet auto strop' blades. There is also a leather strap for sharpening a cut throat razor (not included and not originally part of the set). A wonderfully crafted item of vintage silver, both collectible and practical. Dimensions below.
