A beautiful rare solid sterling silver quaich cup. It is hallmarked for London 1935 with the makers mark being that of R E Stone. It has been superbly made with the handles being cast in the form of crowns and it has a 1935 silver crown to its centre with a plannished finish. For those unaware these are filled with alcohol and passed around guests at weddings and gatherings. It is in superb condition, having no dings splits or repairs. It measures approx. 5.5 inches (14cm) across including the handles and 3.75 inches (9.4cm) excluding them by almost 1 inch (2.2cm) tall and weighs 108 grams. A stunning clean example.
