Rare Sterling Silver Menu Holder Novelty Lucky Wishbone 1920 Antique

Description

A beautiful rare novelty English solid sterling silver menu holder. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1920 with the maker’s marks being L&S. It has been beautifully designed being in the form of a lucky wish bone - the menu or place card setting slides between the wish bone and the angled support. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1.5 inches (4cms) wide across the base by 1.5 inches (3.5cms) tall and weighs 14 grams. A beautifully designed piece.
