Sterling Silver Alexander Family Crested Kings Pattern Ladle 1845 Antique

Description

A superb English solid sterling silver sauce ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1845 with the maker's mark being that of Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater. It has been well made to what is kings pattern and has been engraved with crest used by the Alexander family. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, tiny crack from the hallmarks being stamped but this has no affect. It measures approx. 6.75 inches (17cms) long by 1.75 inches (4.4cms) wide and weighs 42 grams. A very well made example.
