A huge heavy English solid sterling silver serving ladle. It is hallmarked for London 1823 with the maker’s marks being that of William Eley & William Fearn. It has been superbly made to what is termed the Old English Pattern. The terminal has been engraved with a crest used by the Henderson Family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 12.75 inches (32cms) long by 3.75 inches (9.2cms) wide and weighs a impressive 168 grams. A top quality piece.
