Large Antique Crocodile / Alligator & English Sterling Silver Cigar Case - 1902

Description

A really terrific antique cigar case made from glossy cognac coloured crocodile or alligator skin beautifully stiched together.

The outer case has a thick solid or sterling silver collar or cuff hallmarked for London 1902, making this an early Edwardian example. The makers marks FS, I think for the silversmith, Francis Stebbings.

Excellent condition, a few stains commensurate with age. A beautiful glossy patina. Measures 5 1/2" x 4".
