Rare Georgian Sterling Silver Scottish Provincial Dumfries Basting Spoon C1820

Description

A superb rare Georgian Scottish Provincial solid sterling silver basting spoon. It is hallmarked for Dumfries with the makers mark being that of Robert Gray who worked from 1810-1841. It has been superbly made being engraved with the single initial R. It is in superb condition having no dings splits distortions or repairs. It measures approx. 11.75 inches (29.5cms) long by over 2 inches (5.5cms) wide and weighs 80 grams. A very high quality very rare piece.
