A super quality German solid silver asparagus server. It is hallmarked with the German crescent moon and crown mark along with the 800 standard mark and a makers mark. I would date it to c1920-1940. It has been beautifully made having a Art Nouveau style handle and ridged serving plate. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 9.25 inches (23.5cms) long by 3.25 inches (8.2cms) wide and weighs 140 grams. A high quality well made unusual piece.
