Rare Norwegian Sterling Silver Blue Enamel Thimble C1940 Sewing Needlework

1920 - 1940
Description

A super quality rare solid sterling silver and enamel thimble. It is hallmarked with the Norwegian 925S standard silver mark along with the makers mark of Aksel Holmsen of Sandefjord and was founded in 1932. It has been beautifully designed with the sides being decorated with blue enamel. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.6cm) tall by 0.75 inch (2cm) across the base and weighs 6 grams. A very interesting example.
