Fine late 19th century Ethiopian hand carved head rest, c1890. Most probably from the Mursi tribal area this is a beautiful example, and the colour/patina of the wood is amazing. It has a very typical and traditional tribal form and has its original braided carrying handle. Overall condition is good with no obvious defects.
