A beautiful quality English solid sterling silver cream jug. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1939 with the maker's mark being that of William Greenwood & Sons. It has been beautifully designed having a Celtic beast handle and Celtic band to the body and Celtic beast to the lip. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs - tiny mark on the base see final photo. It measures approx. 5 inches (12.6cm) tall by 3.75 inches (9.5cm) lip to handle by 2.75 inches (7cm) across and weighs 126 grams. A beautiful very high quality piece.
