Description

An unusual English antique solid sterling silver letter opener. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1932 with the maker’s marks being that of William James Dingley. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a rowing oar. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 6 inches (15.2cm) long by 0.25 inch (1cm) wide and weighs 14 grams. A very nicely designed example.
