Rare American Sterling Silver Leaf Caddy Spoon C1900 Antique Nouveau Redlich Ny

Description

A rare beautiful solid sterling silver gilt caddy spoon. It is hallmarked STERLING along with the American makers mark of Redlich & Company who operated in New York from 1895 to 1946. I would date this piece to c1900. It has been superbly designed with the bowl being gilded and in the form of a leaf with a loop terminal. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.2cms) long by 1.5 inches (3.5cms) wide and weighs 14 grams. A beautifully made example.
