Rare Cased English Sterling Silver King Edward VII Royal Jam or Caddy Spoon 1902

1900 - 1920
Description

A rare top quality cased solid sterling silver jam or caddy spoon. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1902 with the maker’s marks being that of Pearce and Sons of Huddersfield. It has been superbly made for Coronation of King Edward VII being gilded decorated with emblems of the UK with a heart shaped bowl. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.2cms) long by 1.5 inches (3.7cms) wide and weighs 22 grams excluding the case. A very nice quality example.
