An Edwardian Novelty Miniature Silver Go-to-bed

A charming piece of novelty Edwardian silver. This is a miniature 'go-to-bed' candle holder, depicting Wee Willy Winkie and his cat. The front has engraved character details and the candle holder has a spike to hold a small candle. The cat's tail forms a small loop handle. An unusual and collectible example. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no breaks, dents or splits.

Hallmarks :- Softening but readable. Partial loss to the Maker's mark.

Date :- Import marked for London 1908.

Candle holder diameter :- 1.5 cms.
