Description

A detailed pair of French bronze candlesticks in the Louis XVI manner, with removable beaded drip pans, dating to around 1870. The underside of one has that appears to be the numbers 568 applied by hand.

Originally gilded in their entirety but now with much rubbing through to the bronze with remaining gilding now only really showing to the areas that less accessible to touch, otherwise their overall condition is consistent with their age.
