Antique William IV Sterling Silver 2 Handle Bowl 1836

Description

This is a superb antique William IV sterling silver bowl measuring 8 1/4? (21 cms) across from handle to handle x 5 3/4? (14.5 cms) x 5 1/4? (13 cms) high to the top of the handles.

It's hallmarked for London 1836 with the silversmiths mark for Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater and shows the retailers mark for Wordley & Mayer of Liverpool.

It’s in excellent condition (any marks you can see are just reflections) and weighs 443.6 grams/14.2 troy oz.

It's gilded inside and has beautiful decoration of flowers and leaves around the body, grape & vine around the rim and super mermaid and dolphin handles.

Please note that we have a matching jug if you wish to take a look.

This bowl will come with a certificate of authenticity.
