A top quality English Victorian solid sterling silver dish or bowl. It is hallmarked for London 1891 with the makers marks being that of the F B Thomas & Co (Francis Boone Thomas). It has a superb design being embossed with scrolls and birds and engraved with a very fine coat of arms. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 3.5 inches (9cms) across the rim by 2.5 inches (6.4cms) tall and weighs 116 grams. A very good quality piece.
