A full cased collection of limited edition hallmarked silver ingots each weighing approx 67g and measuring 52x29mm. Total weight 2418 grams

Each depicts a finely sculpted image of a different vintage or classic car from the collection of Lord Montagu and on the reverse side is an inscription giving the main technical specifications of the model.

Edward John Barrington Douglas-Scott- Montagu, 3rd Baron Montagu of Beaulieu (20 October 1926 - 31 August 2015) was a British Conservative politician well known in Britain for founding the National Motor Museum,.

Lord Montagu gained an interest in motoring from his father — who had commissioned the original ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ mascot for his Rolls- Royce — and with his family collection of historic cars he opened the National Motor Museum in the grounds of his stately home, Palace House, Beaulieu, Hampshire in 1952.
