A very pretty halo ring with a ring of twinkling marcasites framing a faceted green paste stone, which is a lovely vivid colour and reflects the light beautifully. Likely dating from the Edwardian-Art Deco period, early-mid 20th century.
Marked 9CT inside the shank. The ring band is nine-carat gold while the head is silver.
The ring is in very good antique condition; solder is visible either side of the head of the ring where it has been attached to its gold band, see photos.
Size: Approx K (UK), 5.5 (US). The face of the ring measures around 1.2 x 1.3cm.
Weight: 3g.
